Stacey Jones, PhD, LP
Dr. Jones is the Founder and Director of the Mary Ellen Strong Foundation. She is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field.
Board of Directors
The Mary Ellen Strong Foundation Board of Directors governs the work of the Foundation. Our Board shapes the Foundation’s direction through its mission, strategy, budget, and key policies; ensures that the leadership, resources, and finances in place match the Foundation’s vision; and monitors and improves the performance of the organization. The Foundation Board meets formally at least once a year, as well as in between the regular meetings as needed to conduct the Foundation’s business.

Advisory Board
The MESF Advisory Board consists of mental health experts from the academic and clinical world. The Advisory Board is comprised of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, professors and community experts with decades of experience in the field of mental health. Their role is to provide consultation, advice, and content for MESF.
Inspiration
Dr. Mary Ellen Strong was an incredible force and the inspiration for this foundation. Mary Ellen Strong was a marketing expert, advisor, motivator, entrepreneur and political consultant. Throughout the course of her life, she advised U.S. presidents, Corporate CEO’s, church leaders and others around the world and from all walks of life. Her commitment to the Black community was at the core of everything that she did.
